VS Krones

Our intercultural project, which was carried out by the NGO ISOP under the direction of Fred Ohenhen, took place from 13/11 – 29/11/2024 in our school. During 12 lessons, the children learned a lot about life in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The four project leaders danced, sang, drummed, crafted and drew pictures with our pupils and told them many stories. This way the kids could learn to understand different cultures and people and to overcome prejudices. The children were really motivated and inspired to prepare the IKU – festival at the end of the project. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the celebration due to many sick leaves, but on 13/12/2024, we could finally host the party with the support and participation of all the teachers, assistants and parents. The different performances of the kids and the dance together with the parents built an amazing and touching completion of the project and will surely be remembered by everyone for a long time.
